Today, we are consumed with ourselves 24x7 – my life, my activities, my ambition, my achievements, my family - chasing the dreams at speeds that have mentally and physically exhausted us to think beyond.
‘Pause for a Cause’, is the call to all families and friends, corporates, businesses, individuals and the community at large to take a pause in their ultra-high paced lives and look back, give back to their not so fortunate fellow beings who are faced with unimaginable living challenges as they may not have a family, maybe are orphaned, homeless, diseased, underprivileged or less abled.
Together we can - we believe our volunteering activities can help change the lives of a few people suffering from hunger, illnesses and poverty.

Hi, I’m a Freshman at Virginia Tech (VT), majoring in Business Information Technology (BIT) at the prestigious Pamplin School of Business. From a young age, I’ve been deeply committed to community service, inclusivity, and climate action—values instilled in me by my family and strengthened by years of hands-on experience.

Through my leadership and volunteerism, I have been making a tangible impact by supporting food collection and distribution initiatives for organizations like Nest4US, Dulles Food Pantry, and Mobile Hope. My dedication to service has been recognized with the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2022 and 2023, honoring my contributions to uplifting underserved communities.At Care And Smiles, alongside my incredible team of volunteers, friends, and family, we lead multiple fundraising campaigns, patient care initiatives, and tutoring programs. We actively secure sponsorships from businesses to expand our mission of giving back. Whether it’s hosting "Christmas at the Shelter" or "Brunch at the Shelter," we believe in going beyond donations—we engage, connect, and uplift, one smile at a time.
