Today, we are consumed with ourselves 24x7 – my life, my activities, my ambition, my achievements, my family - chasing the dreams at speeds that have mentally and physically exhausted us to think beyond.
‘Pause for a Cause’, is the call to all families and friends, corporates, businesses, individuals and the community at large to take a pause in their ultra-high paced lives and look back, give back to their not so fortunate fellow beings who are faced with unimaginable living challenges as they may not have a family, maybe are orphaned, homeless, diseased, underprivileged or less abled.
Together we can - we believe our volunteering activities can help change the lives of a few people suffering from hunger, illnesses and poverty.

Takes pride in supporting the social and community activities in the Tri state area with numerous Non-Profits and Voluntary organizations.
Active volunteer with Care And Smiles, Nest4US and many other nonprofits wherein the team is engaged in food collection and distribution, providing front line support to talk and listen to the sick and homeless. Engage with the team in activities like serving, cooking, providing logistics support among others.
An active member of the HoA resident community and a senior techno-marketing professional at work.
Kajal Trivedi
Hi, I am Kajal Trivedi. I’m a teacher assistant in Loudoun County Public Schools and work with 6th and 8th grade students. Some of my hobbies are cooking, baking, traveling, and dancing.
I have been volunteering to help my community around me since I was a teen. Starting in India, I used to tutor younger children and as I moved to the US, I continued my passion of volunteering in various organizations. Helping those around me made me understand the importance of giving back to the community. I’m excited to get this opportunity at Care and Smiles to help those around me.
I am indebted to Ayati Aggarwal to introduce me and my daughter to this beautiful organization. Without their help I wouldn't be able to contribute to any social and community activities.
I hope to continue my volunteer work for Cares And Smiles and to run more successful drives to bring smiles and cheer to the underprivileged.
Avishi Tikoo
Hey there! My name is Avishi Tikoo and I’m really excited to be a part of Care And Smiles, helping out with community services and joining the drives! A little bit about me is that I am a rising junior at Independence High School, who absolutely enjoys playing the guitar as well as playing tennis for the school team. In my free time, I love reading books, writing poems, doing little bits of painting or drawing and also allocate time for community development and charity work.
At CareAndSmiles, we strive for awareness about those who are less fortunate and don’t have many resources available. With the HealthAndHygiene drives and other programs, we try to make sure that the needy have the basics to keep healthy and spirited. Joining us on this journey will be a soul replenishing experience for both you and those who are in need of our help. I hope to run more successful drives in the future and am sure that I can count on your support.

Hi! I am Netra Trivedi. I am a rising junior and am super exited to be supporting and volunteering for Care And Smiles! Some facts about me are that I go to Rock Ridge High School and participate in track and field as well as run cross country for my team sports! I am an avid Kathak dancer outside of school. Along with that some hobbies that I have are reading, embroidery, and sleeping!
I join volunteering for Care And Smiles because I love helping people no matter where they are in their life. Helping people always gave me happiness especially with the hygiene and food drives that we do. This gives me the unique opportunity to give back to the community and pursue my passion at the same time. I am excited to continue with more voluntary work with Care And Smiles.
